So, what's different?

VirtUK have now spent a substantial amount of time ensuring that it's customers get the best hosting experience possible, at a minimal cost. The main difference is our backend choice of virtualization. Previously, OpenVZ was used. Our new choice of virtualization is the XEN and the considerable advantages of this can be seen by clicking here.

We have also implemented a number of useful features (aswell as several unique ones) to ensure we stay at the forefront of the VPS hosting industry.

  • A state of the art, custom built, backup management interface. This allows all of our clients to access full image based backups of their virtual server, from their client area login. Backups are taken every 48 hours and are instantly available from your client area. All image based backups are stored on a remote server and should a specific node be unavailable, your data is secure and can be readily accessed. - Coming Soon!

  • We have installed and configured our own tailored built PBX system (this is basically a glorified way of saying you can call us if you need too). All VirtUK staff members have their own extension which is displayed in their ticket signature. Alternatively, simply call our UK local rate phone line and listen to the options. Phones are available during office hours (09:00-17:00GMT Monday to Friday). - Coming Soon!

  • VirtUK have partnered with SolusVM to provide you with an award winning VPS management interface. It has all the necessary features to ensure you can do what you need to do. You can visit the SolusVM website with an active demo by clicking here.

  • We have obtained new support staff, this enables us to cater for all of your needs, 24hours a day. All support staff are English and are knowledgable in the hosting industry.
